Where it all started

I got my start in lighting in the entertainment business. My general experience in entertainment began in 1989 as a stagehand, and I quickly realized this was the place for me. I focused on lighting right away — by 1990–91, I was working anything that came my way, from church services and sports events to rock shows, trade shows, and conferences. That part of my career took me in all directions, quite literally.

By 2007, I had settled into working conventions, trade shows, conferences, and annual meetings of all kinds. I also started hanging Christmas lights that same year. In 2010, I discovered landscape lighting, and it felt just like home. Over the years, I’ve been put in a position to pull off so many different tasks that are nowhere near a box — and that experience goes into every project, large or small.

How we work

Every project starts after dark, on your property, not over the phone. We walk the lot together, talk through what you want to feel when you pull into the driveway, and build a plan around your home’s specific architecture, trees, and sightlines — not a one-size-fits-all package.

Why permanent & seasonal, one team

Most homeowners end up with one contractor for landscape lighting and a separate seasonal crew for holiday lights — two companies, two invoices, two sets of fixtures fighting for the same rooflines. We do both, which means your permanent system and your seasonal lighting are designed to work together instead of around each other.

From first walk to year-round light

Most permanent installations move through four stages, start to finish.

Evening Consultation

We walk your property after dark, free of charge, and talk through what you want it to feel like.

Lighting Design

A fixture-by-fixture plan built around your architecture, trees, and how you actually use the space.

Installation

Clean, low-voltage wiring runs and properly aimed fixtures — tested at night before we call it done.

Ongoing Care

Seasonal adjustments, bulb and transformer service, and reprogramming for holidays as the year moves on.
